Ol Tukai Lodge in Kenya is spaciously laid out with well maintained flat lawns, gardens and wide open spaces. It is a superb place for star gazers in the East African tropical nights. The buildings have covered terraces using gum pole and timber structures, with changing views and interests throughout the whole development.
Accommodation
There are 80 lovely chalet-style twin rooms at Ol Tukai, all with an uninterrupted view of the wetlands or Kilimanjaro. Kibo Villa offers luxurious Amboseli safari accommodation in a beautiful self-contained log cabin.
All the rooms at this Kenya game lodge are stylish and comfortable, built from gum trees, local river stone and slate. Each en-suite room has a private terrace as well as a safe, tea and coffee station and a fan. To accommodate physically challenged guests, 2 rooms have been designed according to EU standards.
The cottage style accommodation spreads out on either side of the main lodge; The architecture is unobtrusive with lots of wood, local slate and stone.
Kibo Villa
For truly indulgent Amboseli safari accommodation in Kenya, the exclusive Kibo Villa is also available. This executive retreat is hidden from view in complete harmony with its surroundings. The elegant three-bedroom log cabin has its own entrance and five acres of garden shaded by indigenous Acacia Tortilis trees.
The bedrooms are all en-suite, and the master bedroom opens onto a roof top terrace with Jacuzzi and splendid Mt. Kilimanjaro views. The Villa offers a lounge, a dining room, a fully fitted kitchen, barbecue area and large verandas. Guests can choose catered or self-catering options and may also make use of Ol Tukai facilities.
Dining
The dining room opens onto a veranda in the garden where lunch is usually served, just metres from Elephants and other game that venture close to the boundary. The Elephant bar has an open-air bar service and features a roof level deck with panoramic views. The pool bar serves snacks and drinks between meal times.

For those who want to spend the day reading, a well-stocked library offers a variety of subject matter.
There are daily speakers from the Elephant Research Station lecturing on different wildlife issues.
