There are 20 luxury cottages in the Manor at Ngorongoro, each with period-style furniture, working fireplaces both indoors and outdoors, panoramic views from their own private courtyards & decking and en-suite bathrooms designed for ultimate indulgence with large free-standing bathtubs & powerful rain showers. There is 1 three-bedroom family cottage which has a separate entrance to each bedroom & deck and can accommodate up to 4 adults and 2 children. All cottages have home entertainment centers, private dining areas, courtyards and a large living area.
Dining
The Manor at Ngorongoro has a mouthwatering menu of intercontinental and African cuisine which is served in the dining conservatory or formal dining room. With a private wine cellar, a wine can be found to compliment any meal and there is a fantastic bar for an evening tipple.
Activities
The Manor at Ngorongoro borders the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with its diverse landscape of grassland, wetland, waterfalls, volcanoes and forests. On a game drive to the Ngorongoro Crater cheetahs, lions, hippos and wildebeest are among the animals that can be seen. To take in the natural beauty of the landscape, go horse riding, traverse the bicycle trails or take a guided walk around the Shangri-La estate. Coffee lovers can take a tasting tour and trips to the Massai Market, Karatu, can be arranged as well as tours to the spectacular Olduvai Gorge and Lake Manyara.
